We bring you…TURBO Friday!

With Black Friday deals coming in fast and furious, we bring you our very own ‘TURBO Friday‘ the only deal you need to be aware of this coming Friday 29th November.

Black Friday has become one of the most controversial shopping dates of the year. Love it or hate it, there are some exceptional offers to be found. The Beninca UK team are split on where we stand, as we rarely offer discounts on our products, as they are competitively priced all year round and reflect the quality. However this year we will be hosting our very own ‘TURBO Friday‘ offering customers the opportunity to receive an *additional 20% off your standard discount rate on our Beninca BULL 624 Turbo and BULL 1224 Turbo.

Please be aware this is a one day only offer and you will not be able to purchase this product at this extremely low cost again anytime soon! So make sure you take advantage of this exceptional offer.

To find out more details around our BULL Turbo range please see below:

Our BULL 624 Turbo sliding gate operator offers many of the same key features as the larger BULL 1224 Turbo, with its incorporated receiver and virtual encoder. It also has a safety sensor that stops the power supply during the release operations.

The main difference between the BULL 624 Turbo and BULL 1224 Turbo, is the BULL 624 Turbo can only slide gates up to half the weight capacity at 600 Kg, but is still equipped with a 24 VDC motor for intensive use.

The second difference to be aware of, the BULL 624 Turbo is equipped with a built-in battery charger much like the BULL 1224 Turbo, however, the BULL 624 Turbo holds 2x 2.1 Ah batteries, compared to the BULL 1224 Turbo which can hold 2x 7 Ah batteries.

Welcoming Meg to the Beninca team…

As well as recently increasing the size of our premises, we have once again increased the size of the Beninca UK team. We’ve had the pleasure of welcoming Meg Sudlow, joining us as Administrative Assistant in early September.

Meg studied at Cours Ste Catherine de Sienne in Normandy (north of France) and then undertook a variety of different courses at Newbury College. Meg is now the third apprentice to join us via the West Berkshire Training Consortium apprenticeship scheme and we are very proud to continue to support young and local individuals into the workplace.

Meg originally showed interest in finance and is therefore being mentored here by Nadia within our Finance team but has been getting involved with a variety of different tasks across the board. Meg has already wowed us with her can-do approach, and we know she is going to go far. Based in the office, Meg can quite often be found answering our busy mainline with her friendly tone, so please do continue to give her a warm welcome.

In her spare time, Meg is a keen artist and enjoys drawing and practising her modern calligraphy skills, which she very kindly put to good use for our recent Gala Dinner event, creating a stunning table plan and name places.

If you wish to contact Meg, please see her details below:

dhf training success!

We were very happy to see our new training room officially in use on Thursday 14th November, with the first-ever DHF training course in full swing and being held within our brand new premises. Guests were welcomed on the day into our stylish training room and undertook the 1-day Level 2 Award in Automated Gate & Traffic Barrier Safety.

The 1-day course covered several modules and at the end of the course, candidates left with a thorough understanding of standards applying to automated gate and barrier systems, along with the ability to accurately conduct and document a risk assessment with a clear overview of the latest legislation.

Congratulations to all the candidates who visited us here at Beninca UK and completed the training course, offered by DHF.

The 1-day Automated Gate Safety Certificate course is now even better than ever. Re-designed in a way that is easier to digest and accredited to offer a formal qualification.  The course is ideal for installers and maintenance engineers of automated gates and traffic barriers, but may also be useful to salespeople who wish to expand their knowledge.

Here at Beninca UK, we strive to ensure gate safety is a vital part of today’s gate automation industry and are proud members of the DHF Automated Gate Group. As a member, we stand by DHF and its commitment to raising standards by offering the best training possible. We therefore highly recommend all automated gate and barrier installers look to undertake a DHF training course.

If you wish to enquire regarding any future training dates being held at Beninca – please call us now on 01488 658 276 or email us on info@beninca.co.uk

A warm welcome to Ben…

We are continuously looking for talented individuals to join our growing team and are therefore delighted to announce Ben Mackie who joined in August as Sales Representative. Ben was seeking a new challenge from the world of PPI and with his go-getting approach and interest of the world of gate automation, Ben has made the perfect addition to the team.

Ben has already gained considerable industry and product knowledge working under both Jack Crawford, National Sales Coordinator and Jamie Berry, General Manager and once fully up to speed will be hitting the road visiting customers shortly.

Outside of work, Ben enjoys spending his time corralling his young daughter and playing on challenger 2 tanks with the Army Reserve. As an obsessive Southampton fan, Ben claims to refuse to set foot in Portsmouth, no matter how big the sales order. – We’ll see about that!

If you wish to contact Ben for any sales enquiries, you can reach him directly on:

It’s officially Movember…

This year a number of the Beninca UK team have decided to step up and take part in Movember. The team will all be growing a moustache throughout November in a bid to help to raise awareness and stop men dying too young.

If you want to get involved or find out more information around Movember, click here.

Here’s our Beninca Mo Bro’s embarking on the challenge, looking fresh-faced and clean-shaven. We can’t wait to report back in time!

We welcome donations and in return may even be able to persuade certain team members to grow a specific style. We feel General Manager, Jamie Berry aka ‘THE BOSS’ would look great rocking ‘The Trucker’ whilst Mark Crewe, Technical Manager aka ‘THE GRUMP’ could pull off ‘The After Eight’ quite well.

Please remember ‘Your dough will save a bro’ so any donations will be appreciated for such a fantastic charity!
