NEW 10 metre cable length option for the DU.IT14NVE & DU.350NVE

Underground operators are the ideal choice for when clients request discrete gate automation. Our electromechanical underground operators are specifically designed to be installed underground, with each model as standard coming with a length of 1.5m cable to wire directly into the control panel.

We are always looking at ways we can make improvements to our product range and on this occasion have now added the option to upgrade both the DU.IT14NVE and DU.350NVE. You can now upgrade the kit to include a 10-metre length of cable, providing you with much more flexibility when wiring the motor.

Two key benefits of having 10 metres of cable are:

  • On most gate systems, having 10 metres of cable length will give the installer the option of wiring even the furthest motor from the control panel directly back, alleviating the need for additional cable joints and preserving the cable colour coding.
  • It also ensures that the motor cables are of the correct specification.

If you would like to upgrade to 10 metre cable instead of the standard 1.5 metre length, simply request this upgrade on the kit when placing your order with a sales rep.

Introducing the brand-new POL posts for PUPILLA photocells.

Capable of housing two PUPILLA photocells per post at different positions, once installed the all-new POL posts allow for the creation of a perimeter field.

Please see the example below, column B includes 2 transmitters (TX1 & TX2) and column C contains 2 receivers (RX2 & RX3) this would be an ideal setup for swing gates and provide maximum perimeter protection and safety.

 

The POL posts are available in two heights including, 500mm and 1200mm. The POL.05 can house 1 pair of photocells at the usual height of 500mm, compared to the POL.12 that can house 2 pairs of photocells at 500mm and 1200mm, making the POL.12 a more suitable option for industrial sites that may encounter larger vehicles.

With its sleek and stylish design, the POL post has an aluminium base with three fixing points, along with a plastic cover to protect the fixing screws. There is also a hole for easy cable access.

The KS4 PRO assembly system for safety edges is here.

We are delighted to announce, the popular SENTIR safety edges we hold in stock have recently undergone a product upgrade. The newly upgraded safety edges now include a Plug ’N’ Sense assembly system, with the new assembly plugs now equipped with a new permanently elastic sealing compound, as well as a protective cap.

Compared to the previous KS 4 plugs, the new improvements offer increased protection, with class IP67 as standard, as well as even easier handling.

IP67 represents one of the highest levels of protection offered by an IP rating. This rating provides:

  • Complete protection against ingress of dust and airborne particles.
  • Protection against water and liquids, up to and including immersion in up to one meter of water for no more than 45minutes

We have put this product to the test here at Benincà UK within a submersion tank and are impressed with the results in comparison to the existing design. Therefore, thrilled to add the all-new KS 4 PRO plugs to our offering.

In addition, the new KS 4 PRO plugs are 100% compatible with previous KS4 systems, including contact profiles. Simple and fast to assemble without tools, the assembly process couldn’t be easier. The new caps will gradually filter through our stocks from July 2021 and are easily distinguishable from the current caps thanks to their red colouring.

Did You Know? You can link up to 4x RF transmitters into each of the two channels of the SC.RF receiver, making them extremely versatile and cost-effective for your wireless safety edge requirements. 

There are numerous safety measures and products we can recommend for electric gate installs depending on the requirements and circumstances, however the most popular and common gate safety device to add is rubber contact safety edges.  

Our RF transmitter and SC.RF receivers are the perfect wireless solution for safety edges, as they are so quick and easy to install. 

Our RF single channel transmitter works with the SC.RF receiver on 868Mhz frequency for wireless safety edge transmission. You can program up to 4 x RF transmitters into each of the two channels of the SC.RF receivers, making them extremely versatile and cost-effective for your safety edge requirements. 

The transmitter is available in two models; as standard the RF unit is battery powered with 2 x AA batteries with a 2 year expected battery lifespan. Alternatively, the RF.SUN model incorporates a small solar panel that will recharge the battery which will trickle charge the battery all year round. The RF & SC.RF is also available in an 869Mhz frequency with both models utilising a N/C or 8K2 input.
